AMD has announced the preview version of Radeon Anti-Lag 2 technology, an updated version of the previous AMD Radeon Anti-Lag+, with support now extended to the "Counter-Strike 2" game.
Designed as an integrated gaming technology rather than a driver-based update, AMD Radeon Anti-Lag 2 has been directly integrated into the "Counter-Strike 2" (CS2) game in collaboration with Valve Corporation. Players can experience the preview effects by updating the game.
The AMD Radeon Anti-Lag technology aims to reduce the latency between "click" and response, providing players with a smoother and more responsive gaming experience. Radeon Anti-Lag 2 achieves an improvement beyond traditional driver solutions by scheduling frame sequences and CPU resources within the game code, reaching new heights. Its key features include:
-
Significant reduction in latency effects: Enabling Radeon Anti-Lag 2 technology on host systems with Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards and Ryzen 8000G series processors results in an average 37% decrease in latency effects.
-
Efficient response speed: Compared to the first-generation driver-based Anti-Lag, Anti-Lag 2 offers a 95% reduction in latency experience.
-
Worry-free gaming experience: As an integrated gaming technology, Anti-Lag 2 seamlessly integrates with partner games to ensure players enjoy a smooth gaming experience.
With the release of the preview version, AMD will unveil the Radeon Anti-Lag 2 SDK on GPUOpen.com for game developers to use. More games will also support Radeon Anti-Lag 2, promising an exciting future for players.
