AMD Launches Ryzen PRO Series for Business: Featuring NPU Unit, Supports WiFi 7

The launch includes 16 processors in total, aimed at laptops with the Ryzen PRO 8040 series and desktops with the Ryzen PRO 8000 series. All these processors feature Ryzen AI technology, including AMD Zen 4 CPU architecture, RDNA 3 GPU architecture, and XDNA architecture NPU. They are built on a 4nm process, equipped with AMD PRO technology, and support WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. There are significant improvements in performance, power consumption, and AI capabilities.

For the laptop product line, the AMD Ryzen PRO 8040 series is divided into HS and U series. The HS series targets content creation platforms and mobile workstations, while the U series targets the high-end ultrabook market. Similarly, AMD has partnered with MediaTek to assist HP in creating the world's first commercial laptops that support WiFi 7, significantly enhancing connectivity. AMD's official statement indicates that OEM partners, including Lenovo and HP, will also launch a variety of laptops and commercial desktops based on the Ryzen PRO 8040/8000 series processors.
