On April 21st, after enduring a series of upheavals including cryptocurrency mining, the pandemic, and AI demand, the graphics card market has finally stabilized, with prices gradually decreasing. Statistics indicate that in Germany at least, the prices of all models in the RTX 40 series and RX 7000 series have fallen below their launch prices, with only one exception in the United States.

3DCenter compiled data from European price comparison site Geizhals and US e-commerce giant Newegg to arrive at this conclusion. s_b397aa1ed0a348f1ba8ff73f3bc2a122.jpg In Europe, particularly in Germany, the PC hardware competition has always been fierce. Graphics card prices have seen an average drop of 11.0%, with some models falling by as much as 26.4% (23.2% in the US) compared to their launch prices.

Leading the pack in price reduction is the RX 7900 XT, the quasi-flagship, with a staggering 26.4% drop. Following closely is the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB, a less popular option due to its high premium, experiencing a 19.2% decrease below its launch price.

Other notable reductions include the RX 7900 XTX at 15.1%, RTX 4060 Ti 8GB at 15.0%, RX 7600 at 13.7%, and RTX 4070 at 12.1%.

On average, the RTX 40 series has seen a 10% price drop, while the RX 7000 series is slightly higher at 12%.

In the US market, the average price drop is only 2.9%, with many models maintaining their original prices. The most surprising is the flagship RTX 4090, which remains 10.7% more expensive than its launch price. s_044c345c9b954b2996c3e1994d4e0acb.png
