Acer teased last December that they would introduce a high-end OLED gaming monitor, but provided no details at the time. According to Wccftech, Acer has recently revealed more details about this new product named "Predator X49 X" through another video segment. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdingyue.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0407%2Fdb0d9d2dj00sbjuc00031d000xc00hdg.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg The Predator X49 X boasts a 48.9-inch QD-OLED ultrawide curved screen with a curvature of 1800R, featuring Samsung's quantum dot technology. Sporting a 32:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 5120 x 1440, rumors suggest it shares the same screen as Philips' Evnia 49M2C8900 launched last year, promising gamers the ultimate experience. Acer has confirmed typical brightness at 250 nits and peak brightness at 1000 nits, earning it DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, par for the course with most high-end OLED products, along with HDR10 support.

With a response time of 0.03ms and a refresh rate of 240Hz, this monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology. Acer offers HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces, along with a USB Type-C port providing 90W reverse charging, all of which are standard for similar products in today's market. Equipped with built-in KVM and USB hub functions, it features dual USB Type-A ports and supports two input sources simultaneously for dual 2K display mode. Additionally, it comes with dual 5W speakers.

It's currently unclear when Acer will officially release the Predator X49 X or its exact pricing. However, with similar panel products already on the market, gamers likely won't have to wait too long.
