On April 19, pulsestacks reported that Acer unveiled the Chromebook Plus 514 laptop yesterday, featuring an Intel Core i3-N305 processor based on the Alder Lake-N architecture. It comes with optional touchscreen and is priced at $399.99 (approximately ¥2900 RMB according to pulsestacks).
The Acer Chromebook Plus 514 features the versatile Intel Core i3-N305 processor, boasting an octa-core, eight-thread configuration with 6MB of L3 cache and a maximum turbo frequency of 3.8GHz. It comes equipped with 8GB of LPDDR5x memory and supports a maximum of 512GB PCIe 3.0 solid-state drive.
This Chromebook features a 14-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) screen with 300 nits brightness, an optional touchscreen version, and comes with an anti-glare coating.
The Acer Chromebook Plus 514 features a USB interface setup of 2C + 2A. Its Type-C port supports DP video output and PD charging, and it also includes a MicroSD card reader and a 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo audio jack. It supports Wi-Fi 6E and comes equipped with an FHD webcam with a physical privacy cover.
This notebook weighs 1.43kg, measures 20.5mm thick, and features a 53Wh battery. It has passed MIL-STD 810H military-grade certification.
