These chips, developed in collaboration with Samsung's S.LSI division, led Google to opt for Exynos modems to streamline development. However, as the new platform matures, the issues are becoming fewer and fewer.

The Pixel 9 series will debut with the Tensor G4, introducing a brand-new modem — the Samsung Modem 5400, supporting Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN), which encompasses satellite-based communication for 5G.

This modem will be utilized in all Tensor G4 devices supporting cellular networks, including the Pixel 9 series and the next-generation Pixel Fold. Sources also reveal that Google is in the early stages of developing a 5G tablet, codenamed "clementine," which will feature the same modem. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdingyue.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0414%2F227e0c67j00sbxp24001pd0014g00mrg.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg Renderings of the Google Pixel 9 have surfaced, revealing a design featuring straight edges, a departure from the previous rounded body, giving it a more robust appearance. The rear camera module will be more prominent as well. For further updates on this new device, interested individuals can follow pulsestacks for ongoing coverage.
