On May 9th, the Star Journey Star Era ET was officially launched, with a total of 8 models priced between 189,800 and 319,800 yuan.
The new car offers two power options: extended range and pure electric. The pure electric model features an all-domain 800V high-voltage system, equipped with CDC electromagnetic damping system + air suspension.
The extended-range model has a pure electric range of 200km, a comprehensive range of over 1500km, and WLTC feed fuel consumption of 5.2L/100km; the pure electric model has a maximum range of 760km, with a 9-minute charge from 30% to 80% SOC.
On the eve of its launch, the Star Era ET extended-range version also underwent a full-charge, one-tank, non-refueling challenge, achieving a tested maximum range of 2141.4km.
The Star Era ET measures 4955/1975/1698mm with a wheelbase of 3000mm. It is equipped with the "Star Move Bar" inside the car, allowing for electric movement of the front and rear rows via voice control or physical buttons.
Even when it's inconvenient for the driver to get out of the car, the rear move bar can be used to create a passageway through the front seats, making it easier to get in and out.
The car is equipped with dual NVIDIA Orin chips with 508 TOPS computing power, along with 30 perception hardware such as LiDAR, enabling features like urban intelligent driving assistance, highway intelligent driving assistance, smart parking, and supports 6.0 kW outdoor discharge and 60 kW mobile power station.
In terms of power, the all-electric version will offer single-motor and dual-motor versions. The rear single-motor version has a maximum power of 230 kW, while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive version has a combined power of 353 kW.
Built on a global 800V architecture, it will feature CATL's Shenxing ultra-fast charging battery with capacities of 77 kWh and 100 kWh, with a maximum charging power of 410 kW, exceeding 5C. A 5-minute charge can add 150 km of range, and it can maintain a discharge power of 280 kW even in low-temperature conditions.
The extended-range version is equipped with Chery's self-developed most powerful hybrid-specific 1.5T turbocharged engine, capable of outputting a maximum power of 115 kW, with an ultra-high thermal efficiency of 44.5%, generating 3.65 kWh per liter of fuel, setting an industry benchmark.
