On April 7, recent online leaks showcased a series of spy shots for the new Hongqi L-Series model. Despite being heavily camouflaged, the vehicle's commanding presence is unmistakable.
This time, what was captured is a prototype vehicle, which, due to testing, even bears some damage on its body. The vehicle features a familial cascading grille on the front, effortlessly enhancing its luxurious appeal. The headlights on either side are strikingly unique, diverging from the round lights used in the L5. The new model is equipped with horseshoe-shaped light assemblies, boosting its distinctiveness.
Combining with two other leaked spy shots, it's evident that the new vehicle adopts the standard sedan design, featuring large-sized dense-spoke wheels. The side profile is exceptionally sleek, presumably reaching a length of 5.2 meters. The rear door appears to have been elongated, ensuring ample space for second-row passengers.
The rear styling exudes a sense of dignity and sophistication, featuring vertically arranged taillights and extensive use of chrome accents. When combined, these elements create a commanding presence comparable to executive luxury sedans like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
