On April 21, according to domestic media reports, an incident on April 19 in Changchun, Jilin, involved a car owner who claimed to have been overcharged at a gas station.

The owner's vehicle, a Volkswagen Passat, has a 66-liter fuel tank and had about 10 liters of gasoline left according to the fuel gauge.

Despite this, the fuel pump dispensed over 67 liters, which the car owner found unacceptable.

When questioned, the attendant responded aggressively and failed to provide a satisfactory explanation.

Following the owner's call to the police, the attendant immediately opened and adjusted the settings on each fuel dispenser, claiming it was a "routine check."

The owner expressed skepticism about the timing of these checks, questioning, "No safety inspections all day, but suddenly at 10:30 PM when someone calls the police, it's time for a routine check?"

The car owner has since filed an official complaint with the market supervision department and notified the police. 3033879c-51ae-4961-9b3b-348bab4723f1.jpg
