  1. Certain imported E-Class, CLS, and AMG GT cars manufactured between November 24, 2021, and March 10, 2023, totaling 2,790 vehicles.

  2. Certain imported GLE SUV and GLS SUV vehicles manufactured between July 5, 2018, and January 7, 2023, totaling 89,674 vehicles.

Some of the vehicles within this recall scope may have improperly secured grounding bolts for the battery grounding terminal in the engine compartment, leading to increased resistance at the grounding point. In the event of high currents, this could result in elevated temperatures at the connection point, posing a fire risk.

Affected vehicles within the recall scope will undergo a free inspection and tightening of the grounding bolt for the battery grounding terminal. If any related parts are found damaged, they will be replaced to eliminate the safety hazard.

  1. Certain imported GLE SUV vehicles manufactured between May 3, 2023, and May 10, 2023, totaling 79 vehicles.

Some vehicles within this recall scope may have inadequately welded throttle pedal module brackets to the vehicle body. Prolonged use may cause detachment of the throttle pedal module from the vehicle body, rendering the throttle pedal inoperable.

In extreme cases, the throttle pedal may become lodged between the vehicle body and the brake pedal, affecting the use of the brake pedal and posing a safety hazard.

Affected vehicles' throttle pedal module brackets will have their affected weld points replaced with rivets to eliminate the safety hazard. S4649f8c6-1f1d-4bbd-a75e-0f9efa432f1f.png
