According to reports, on April 17th, the Changan Qiyuan E07 is set to debut for the first time at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, simultaneously initiating blind pre-sale.
Internally coded as CD701, the Qiyuan E07 is crafted on Changan's latest SDA platform architecture. Officially, it's positioned as a "pure electric multi-purpose passenger vehicle."
In terms of appearance, the car adopts the family-style design of Changan Qiyuan, with a strong three-dimensional sense in the front face design. The integrated light strip connects the two large headlights, giving it a futuristic look.
The side profile highlights the characteristics of the vehicle, blending the features of an SUV and a pickup truck. The roofline presents a distinct sloping shape, accompanied by two sturdy luggage racks.
The rear design features a large sloping hatchback style, and when opened, the dome can transform from an SUV to a pickup truck configuration. Additionally, the tailgate can fold down, making it convenient for loading and unloading luggage/cargo.
The interior features a floating central control screen, with ambient lighting on the center console and lower section. The passenger side dashboard area includes cup holders and a wireless charging panel for mobile phones.
The trunk is equipped with over ten expansion interfaces, allowing connection to various hardware devices for a more convenient user experience.
Additionally, the vehicle will be equipped with track satellite communication, boasting global coverage and constant connectivity, ensuring no loss of signal.
In terms of power, the initial models of the Changan Qiyuan E07 declared for approval all adopt pure electric drive. The single-motor version has a maximum power of 252 kilowatts, while the dual-motor version has front and rear electric motors with maximum powers of 188 kilowatts and 252 kilowatts respectively. They are equipped with ternary lithium battery packs, but specific range data has not yet been disclosed.
