March 15 news, Beijing DASUNG Corporation recently released a new product called Paperlike Color (12 inches), claiming it to be the world's first portable color e-ink display.
The display is now available for pre-order at a price of 4999 CNY.
It features a 12-inch screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a resolution of 2560 x 1200, and supports touch screen connection for mobile phones and computers.
Kaleido 3 Color e-ink Screen
Utilizing E-Ink's Kaleido 3 color e-ink display, the Paperlike Color incorporates Dasung's proprietary X-Color Filter technology, specifically designed for color e-ink displays. This technology enhances color contrast, vibrancy, text blackness, and overall dynamic effects of the display.
DASUNG Turbo Ink Screen High Refresh Technology
The Paperlike Color also features DASUNG's Turbo Ink Screen high refresh technology, which boasts extremely fast refresh rates and minimal latency.
Paperlike Color Features and Design
The Paperlike Color features a white front light, providing a paper-like display that is easy on the eyes even in low-light environments such as evenings or nights.
In terms of design, it has an aluminum alloy body, a Type-C port, and weighs 439 grams, with a thickness of 5.3 millimeters at its thinnest point.
