On April 14th, at the opening ceremony of the 27th Harvard China Forum, Zhou Hongyi, the founder and chairman of 360 Group, delivered a speech with a humorous tone, stating, "To put it simply, the reason I came to Harvard is to gain fans."

Zhou pointed out that many people in China are addicted to watching short videos every day, emphasizing the importance for both entrepreneurs and business leaders to maintain close contact with users.

"To gain a voice, to have influence, you don't necessarily have to sell products online or become internet celebrities," Zhou said.

He cited the example of Xiaomi cars' popularity, noting that Lei Jun posts two short videos every day, which greatly resonate with the internet audience and have helped dominate other traditional car dealers. This, Zhou emphasized, is the power of internet celebrities.

However, Zhou also stressed the importance for entrepreneurs and business leaders to learn how to communicate with the public. "You need to learn how to generate real gravitational force, convincing employees even before something happens," he said.

Addressing the classic question of whether artificial intelligence will replace certain industries or companies, Zhou bluntly stated, "Artificial intelligence may not necessarily eliminate individuals, but those who do not use it or understand it will be replaced by peers who do." s_915b985aff6d42f792f3027b1da24cd1.jpg
