Recently, the Beijing Economic and Information Bureau hosted the third batch of Invisible Champion Enterprise Symposium in Beijing under the theme "Building Teams, Aiding Development". After comprehensive evaluation by the Beijing Economic and Information Bureau and other departments, 360 Group, abbreviated as 360, was successfully recognized as one of the 13 "Invisible Champion" enterprises in Beijing for the year 2023. It's been reported that Beijing has identified and nurtured 45 hidden champion enterprises, primarily focusing on ten high-tech industries such as intelligent equipment, new-generation information technology, and new materials. Over the past three years, these enterprises have achieved an average annual revenue scale of over 3 billion RMB, with an average expenditure of around 350 million RMB on research and development (R&D). On average, 27.5% of their workforce is dedicated to R&D, making them a crucial driving force behind the capital's economic and social development.
According to the Bureau of Economic and Information Technology, each award-winning enterprise possesses its own unique expertise and dominates in its specific niche market. The aim of this conference is to further stimulate the development momentum of these hidden champions and boost their confidence in expanding their presence in Beijing.
As the only domestic technology company with both digital security and artificial intelligence capabilities, 360 has always focused on excelling in "two things": providing digital security services to establish a solid foundation for industrial digitization and the digital economy, and leveraging artificial intelligence to promote the intelligent upgrading of industrial digitization, reaching the pinnacle of digitalization.
In this year's government work report during the Two Sessions, the concept of "AI+" was proposed. In response, Zhou Hongyi, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and founder of 360 Group, suggested promoting the vertical and industrial application of large-scale models to accelerate the formation of a new quality productivity driven by artificial intelligence. He believes that only by empowering various industries and entering countless households can large-scale models truly integrate with traditional industries, facilitating the transformation from digitization to intelligence and assisting in the development of new industrialization, industrial internet, and modern manufacturing.
The government work report also emphasized "vigorously promoting the construction of a modern industrial system and accelerating the development of new quality productivity." Zhou Hongyi stated that the essence of the country's emphasis on shaping new quality productivity, pursuing high-quality development, and promoting technological innovation lies in achieving digital transformation and intelligent upgrading. He believes that internet companies should willingly play a supporting role to help traditional enterprises, especially manufacturing and industrial enterprises, achieve the transformation from digitization to intelligence.
Zhou Hongyi pointed out that as the world faces the impact of the artificial intelligence industry revolution, enterprises should increase investment and actively innovate, assisting the country in solving major challenges. Currently, the security of large-scale models has become a global frontier issue. As a leader in digital security, 360 actively leads research on the security issues of general large-scale models and super large-scale models, relying on its national-level security capabilities. Leveraging the "360 Brain," a self-developed cognitive large-scale model, 360 has created the first domestically secure large-scale model, achieving mutual empowerment between digital security and artificial intelligence, and contributing fresh momentum to Beijing's promotion of new industrialization and the development of new quality productivity.
