On March 6th, JD Group announced its fourth-quarter and full-year performance for 2023.
According to the financial report, in 2023, JD's annual revenue reached 1.0847 trillion CNY, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%. The full-year Non-GAAP net profit was 35.2 billion CNY, a year-on-year increase of 24.7%.
In 2023, JD Group's total human resources expenditure (including internal and external personnel) reached 104.7 billion CNY, continuing to drive high-quality employment.
As of the end of 2023, JD Group had created nearly 620,000 job positions for society.
JD stated that the average annual compensation for over 20,000 JD customer service representatives increased by over 30% throughout the year. Nearly a hundred JD delivery drivers had an annual income exceeding one million CNY within three years. "Celebrating the Chinese New Year at JD" frontline staff received subsidies exceeding 500 million CNY.
Starting from January 1, 2024, JD Group will further increase its investment in frontline business personnel, with annual fixed salaries for JD procurement and sales personnel increasing by nearly 100%.
JD previously stated that over the past 20 years, it has always adhered to the principle of "people first, then the enterprise", with a cumulative investment of nearly 50 billion CNY to establish a multi-dimensional welfare care and talent development mechanism, allowing every JD employee to enjoy a work life with dignity, happiness, and a sense of achievement.
