On March 6th, the Redmi K70 Ultra Edition has recently surfaced in the IMEI database with the model number 2407FRK8EC, codenamed "rothko".
Internationally, it will be named Xiaomi 14T, following the logic of the previous two generations, and is expected to be launched between June and August.
The Redmi K70 Ultimate Edition continues the legacy of its predecessors in terms of specs. It features the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, with the highest configuration boasting 24GB LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, delivering performance that rivals top-tier devices in the industry.
Moreover, it comes with a powerful cooling system, tuned for extreme performance, and an additional discrete GPU chip for features like supersampling and frame rate enhancement, positioning it as a powerhouse for gaming performance.
In terms of the screen, it continues the 1.5K display from the previous two generations, and supports LTPO adaptive high refresh rate, as well as ultra-high-frequency PWM dimming.
From the previous two generations, it can also be seen that the Redmi K series Ultimate Edition, although bearing the name of the K series, is not actually derived from the K series, but is a separate iterative series.
The Ultimate Edition will not continue the specifications of the K series numerical models such as 2K screens and Snapdragon chips, but will inherit the 1.5K screen, MediaTek chips, and invest more in fast charging and heat dissipation to meet gaming experiences.
