Apple's Ultimate Ultrabook! M3 MacBook Air Benchmarks Revealed

On March 6th, benchmarks for the 15-inch M3 version of the MacBook Air surfaced on the Geekbench 6 benchmarking website, showcasing Apple's most powerful Air laptop yet.

According to the website, the M3 scored 3157 in single-core performance and 12020 in multi-core performance. In comparison, the M2 scored 2610 in single-core and 10120 in multi-core performance. This represents roughly a 20% increase in single-core score and an 18% increase in multi-core performance compared to its predecessor. s_0094a3d970c84eed99903d3a8aa29204.jpg The website also indicates that the M3 chip features an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU, with a CPU clock speed of 4.05GHz, a significant improvement compared to the M2's 3.48GHz.

Furthermore, the M3 is equipped with 128KB of L1 instruction cache, 64KB of L1 data cache, and 4MB of L2 cache.

It's worth noting that the 15-inch MacBook Air spotted on benchmarking websites is the 16GB RAM version. Apple also offers options for 8GB and 24GB of RAM, with storage capacities of up to 2TB, all preloaded with MacOS Sonoma system.
