On March 6th, Alienware introduced a Youth Edition model of the m16 R2, priced at an initial 12,999 Yuan.
The new laptop is equipped with a 16-inch 2.5K resolution QHD+ display, boasting features such as a 240Hz refresh rate, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 100% sRGB color gamut, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, G-SYNC for direct discrete GPU connection, DDS (Dynamic Display Switching), and a 180-degree hinge mechanism. It is also certified for eye protection by TUV Rheinland.
The processor is powered by Core Ultra 7, featuring 6 Performance cores, 8 Efficiency cores, and 2 Low Power Efficiency cores, totaling 16 cores and 22 threads, with a maximum turbo frequency of 4.8 GHz, and it integrates an Iris Xe graphics card.
The Alienware M16 R2 can enter Performance Mode by pressing Fn+F1, unlocking the system's full potential with up to 175W of performance power and activating all lighting effects; pressing Fn+F2 switches to Quiet Mode, turning off the logo on the front and shifting other lights to backlight mode.
Additionally, this product comes with up to 16GB of RAM, expandable to 64GB at a speed of 5600MT/s; optional storage of up to 1TB, which can be expanded to 8TB.
Ports include Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45, 3.5mm audio jack, DP1.4, and more.
