April 5th update: According to reports from foreign media, Porsche's all-new Taycan model is set to debut on March 11th.
Porsche officials have stated that this car will be the "most dynamic Taycan model ever," but beyond the marketing jargon, a closer look at the details suggests that this could very well be the production model that clocked 7:07.55 at the Nürburgring.
So, what does this 7:07.55 time signify?
Well, it means this car is 26 seconds quicker than the Taycan Turbo S and 17.6 seconds faster than the Tesla Model S Plaid around the track.
This hardcore electric sedan is poised to deliver incredibly impressive performance.
From the teaser image released by the company, it's evident that this is the high-performance variant that was previously leaked, with its prominent feature being the extended rear wing on both sides.
Not only has the power been upgraded, but the car has also undergone aerodynamic optimization.
Although the specific specifications for this car have not yet been released, for reference, the fastest current Taycan model is the Turbo S version, which boasts 938 horsepower. The upcoming flagship model is expected to have even more power, possibly exceeding 1000 horsepower, to rival the Tesla Model S Plaid, which has 1,020 horsepower.
Furthermore, the Taycan Turbo S accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.4 seconds, which is 0.4 seconds faster than the previous Turbo S model. There are reports suggesting that this car is likely to be equipped with three electric motors.
