March 4th Update: According to an official announcement on the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) website, in response to recent changes in international oil prices, and following the current mechanism for determining refined oil prices, domestic fuel prices will rise starting from 24:00 on March 4, 2024.
The prices for both gasoline and diesel (standard grades) will increase by 125 CNY and 120 CNY per ton, respectively. This marks the third price hike in 2024.
On a national average, the price of 92 octane gasoline has increased by 0.1 CNY per liter, while 95 octane gasoline has seen a similar increase. Additionally, the cost of 0-grade diesel has gone up by 0.10 CNY per liter.
Considering a typical household car with a fuel tank capacity of 50 liters, filling up the tank with 92 octane gasoline will now incur an additional cost of 5 CNY.
We would like to remind all car owners to take advantage of the opportunity to refuel on their way home. For those who may need to go out of their way to reach a gas station, it's advisable to consider the distance and make an informed decision accordingly. Drive safely!
Since the start of this year, domestic oil prices have undergone five rounds of adjustments, specifically "three increases, one decrease, and one hold."
According to the adjustment schedule, the next price adjustment window will open on March 18th.
