On March 4th, according to media reports, the Anhui Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment recently released the "Environmental Impact Assessment Report of Jianghuai's Construction Project for the Production of 200,000 High-End Intelligent Pure Electric Passenger Cars Annually".
It is reported that the factory will invest 39.805 billion CNY, with an estimated annual output of 200,000 vehicles.
Once completed, it will develop Jianghuai Automobile's new energy exclusive DE platform and the X6 platform empowered by Huawei's intelligent technology.
Specifically, the planned annual output of the project is 200,000 units, mainly for mid-to-large-sized pure electric DE and X6 platform products, including C-class sedans, B-class sedans, A+ class SUVs, B-class SUVs, and MPV models.
Among them, the X6 pure electric platform is a luxury new energy platform, covering mid-to-large-sized MPV models.
Officials stated that they will actively seize the domestic high-end market by empowering with Huawei's intelligent technology.
In December last year, Jianghuai Automobile and Huawei Terminal Co., Ltd. signed the "Intelligent New Energy Vehicle Cooperation Agreement".
In the agreement, both parties announced that given Huawei Terminal's successful experience in creating high-end products in the user domain, Jianghuai Automobile will form a strong alliance with Huawei Terminal, complementing each other's advantages.
Based on Huawei's smart car solutions, the two parties will cooperate comprehensively in product development, manufacturing, sales, service, and other fields, focusing on creating luxury intelligent connected electric vehicles. Through continuous upgrades and iterations of cooperative models, they aim to meet users' higher demands and expectations for intelligent connected vehicles.
