According to IT Home's report on March 2nd, for Quest headset users who haven't yet migrated their Oculus accounts to Meta accounts, it's advisable to do so as soon as possible.
Meta recently announced via email to users that old Oculus accounts will be deleted on March 29, 2024. Once deleted, these accounts cannot be reactivated, and users will lose access to apps, in-app purchases, store credits, and more. Additionally, users will lose achievements, friend lists, and any content created using the Oculus account.

We hope this message finds you well. We're reaching out to inform you about some important changes regarding your Oculus account.
As you may be aware, Meta (formerly known as Facebook) acquired Oculus in 2014. Since 2020, new users have been required to register their devices using a Facebook social account. However, recognizing the preferences of our users, we introduced the option to create a Meta account in 2022, providing an alternative for those who prefer not to link their Oculus device to a Facebook account.
We want to remind you that as of January 2023, Meta has prohibited users from logging into their Oculus accounts. Furthermore, we are scheduled to delete all Oculus accounts on March 29, 2024. If you have not yet migrated your account, you can do so by clicking here.
