March 1st Update: XPeng Motors has officially announced the immediate rollout of the Unlimited XNGP intelligent advanced driver assistance feature, targeting experienced smart driving users.
The official statement indicates that the feature will be available in any city with navigation capabilities, without restrictions on routes.
In addition to providing unlimited XNGP to experienced users familiar with Smart Drive boundaries, the rollout of fully open routes and cities, based on official safety tests conducted at least four times, is continuously expanding.
According to He Xiaopeng, Chairman of XPeng Motors, in 2024, the company plans to roll out nationwide, point-to-point XNGP (X Autonomous Driving) in various scenarios including local roads, inner-city streets, parking lots, and more.
Additionally, XPeng Motors aims to develop high-speed NGP (Next Generation Pilot) globally in 2024, followed by the development of global XNGP in 2025.
Currently, Xiaopeng Motors' high-speed NGP penetration rate is 94.7%, with a city smart driving user penetration rate of 83.2%. The NGP-enabled road section penetration rate is 40%.
The Xiaopeng XNGP system's navigation-assisted driving capability covers the national high-speed road network and 21 provinces (including municipalities directly under the Central Government), totaling 243 cities.
