Huawei Wins Seven GLOMO Awards, Showcasing Its Hardcore Strength in the Mobile Industry

On March 1st, during MWC24 in Barcelona, Huawei won seven GLOMO awards, demonstrating its hardcore strength in the mobile network industry.

The GSMA Global Mobile Awards (GLOMO Awards) is the most prestigious award in the mobile communication industry, judged by the most outstanding experts in various fields of mobile communication, and bestows the highest honor in the mobile industry.

Among them, Huawei's Green Antenna Series won the "Best Mobile Network Infrastructure Award," recognizing Huawei's continuous breakthroughs around base station antennas in efficiency, performance, and integration, helping operators build high-efficiency, high-performance, simple, and easily upgradable 5G networks.

Huawei's "0 Bit 0 Watt" energy-saving solution won the "Best Mobile Technology Breakthrough Award," also being the industry's first energy-saving solution to receive this honor.

Huawei's RAN Digital Twin System (RDTS) based on IntelligentRAN won the "Best Network Software Breakthrough Award," affirming Huawei's revolutionary software solutions in support of the global operational network's digital transformation.

The Inclusive 5G Smart Grid Solution, created jointly by State Grid Corporation of China, China Unicom, Huawei, and DingQiao, won the "Best Private Network Solution Award," signifying the global industry's high recognition of the innovative achievements in 5G+power integration.

The 5G live broadcast package service in cooperation with Huawei and China Unicom in Guangdong won the "Best Mobile Operator Service for Connected Consumers Award," addressing the high upstream bandwidth demands of live users and providing a stable user experience, serving as a demonstration for global operators to monetize 5G network upstream bandwidth.

The world's first SuperHub spectrum efficiency enhancement solution deployed jointly by Huawei and Ufone in Pakistan won the "Best Mobile Innovation for Emerging Markets Award," representing Huawei's continuous innovation in improving microwave spectrum efficiency and resolving adjacent link interference at regional center hub sites.

The TECH4ALL Norwegian Wild Salmon Protection Project, jointly conducted by Huawei and the Norwegian Bellavista Hunting and Fishing Association, received the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Outstanding Contribution Award. The project successfully captured over 6000 invasive salmon in Norway in 2023, achieving a win-win situation for ecological protection and economic development through digital technology.
