On February 27th, IT Home reported that X, Elon Musk's social media platform, achieved another milestone with over 1 million job listings now available on the platform.
X Company's CEO, Linda Yacarino, celebrates in a post: "The all-in-one app is getting closer every day! From more video options to calling features, to Grok (Elon Musk's xAI chatbot), and even a job recruitment platform. Just a reminder, we now have 1 million positions waiting for you!"
Shortly after, Musk also retweeted this post, along with a meme: Musk's X has already conquered the "territories" of Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, and is aiming to "take over" the recruitment platform LinkedIn.
In November last year, the job search tool on X platform was made available to all users. Musk had promised, "We'll make sure X platform is 'cool' compared to competitors like LinkedIn." The tool was launched in August last year as a beta version, with officials stating that several companies had been invited to join and could import recruitment information in ATS or XML format within minutes, helping them expand their hiring reach and attract more talent.
Since Musk took over X (Twitter), he has implemented a series of controversial changes and has repeatedly stated in public that he intends to learn from WeChat and transform X into a super app.
