Jike stated that all components have been upgraded to 800V components, adding more than 10,000 RMB; the cabin, Yamaha audio system, 5D seats, adding more than 10,000 RMB in cost; laser radar, and batteries also increased costs; these are all visible upgrades for users, and there are many invisible upgrades as well.
Why do this? Jike stated that at the beginning of the year, we judged that the entire industry would definitely not be very good this year. We don't want to (be forced to) have new prices and new benefits. We want to be fully prepared at the beginning of the year. The intensity of this year's competition is unprecedented. We feel that we should start (acting) from the beginning.
Changes in the market situation have accelerated the iteration and launch speed of 001. Jike 001 hopes to remain stable at around 10,000 units in the long term. The 2023 model is expected to stabilize at 7-8 thousand units, and there should be no problem exceeding 10 thousand units in 2024.
Traditional car companies and tech giants are competing. Tesla is ahead of us, but we are surpassing Tesla in some areas; the top companies in the industry are getting bigger every year, and the stronger ones are getting stronger.
In addition, Jike also revealed that there will be 2 new cars this year, but one of them will be closer to the end of the year, so the focus will be on selling new cars with 007 and CM2E; MPV CM2E and an SUV on the same platform as 007.
