On February 28th, according to the "Charm and Stability" official WeChat account, the Information Office of the People's Government of Anding District, Dingxi City, released a situation report regarding a traffic accident that occurred on February 24th, 2024, on Zhonglong Road in Anding District, Dingxi City.
Following an investigation by the Traffic Police Brigade of Anding Sub-bureau of Dingxi Public Security Bureau, at 5:17 a.m. on February 24th, 2024, Mr. Li was driving a small van to deliver vegetables to Xishuiwan Community in Anding District, Dingxi City. While on Zhonglong Road in Anding District, the vehicle collided with members of the Li Jia Bao Township traditional performance troupe who were en route to perform at Yuhu Park.
Immediately after the accident, the Traffic Police Brigade of Anding Sub-bureau of Dingxi Public Security Bureau arrived at the scene for disposal and promptly transported the injured to the hospital for examination and treatment.
Following diagnosis, one victim had minor cerebral bleeding, three victims had minor fractures, and the remaining seven suffered minor external abrasions.
Upon examination, it was found that the driver, Mr. Li, had a blood alcohol content of 68.51mg/100ml, indicating driving under the influence of alcohol.
Currently, all injured parties are in stable condition, with one discharged from the hospital. The driver involved has been apprehended by the public security authorities, and further investigation and handling of the accident are underway.
