Cainiao Logistics Technology achieves new milestones in its global expansion efforts. Recently, Cainiao signed a collaboration agreement with Spotter, a B2B cross-border trade distribution channel. Leveraging its leading expertise in digital supply chain, Cainiao will supply Spotter with a next-generation smart warehouse management system. This initiative aims to assist Spotter in establishing a standardized and efficient warehouse management system for overseas warehouses, contributing collectively to the international expansion of Chinese brands. This achievement follows Cainiao's previous technological collaborations with enterprises such as Daraz and Flash Express in its global expansion endeavors. Spotter, known for its focus on the B2B cross-border trade distribution channels in the European and American markets, has established strategic partnerships with well-known brand sellers such as Laifen and Hellobaby. As an explorer in the proprietary ecosystem of channels like Amazon and Walmart, Spotter empowers sellers with its digital capabilities to precisely layout their brands in overseas channels, accelerating their speed to market. In 2021, Spotter was officially established in California, USA, with its global headquarters located in Chongqing, China, and a supply chain system in North America.

Like many companies expanding internationally, logistics has become a bottleneck for Spotter's cross-border business development due to its growing scale. "Previously, Spotter utilized externally sourced and in-house developed WMS systems, which were not efficient in complex bulk B2B outbound scenarios, inconvenient to operate, suffered from disorganized system data, and poor external integration, failing to meet the company's needs for lean logistics development," said Sam He, CTO of Spotter. Spotter aims to leverage Rookie's world-class logistics technology capabilities and its core competencies and delivery cases in the digital supply chain to jointly create a smart warehousing system, continuously empower business development, and better meet the demands of brand globalization.

The WMS (Warehouse Management System) project collaboration between Rookie and Spotter has been launched. Centered around Rookie's self-developed WMS system, it covers the entire business process of Spotter's proprietary warehouse management and is deeply integrated with the OMS (Order Management System), MDM (Master Data Management System), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System), and BI (Business Intelligence System), ensuring a closed-loop management of the warehousing business.

Shen Weifeng, the head of digital supply chain at Rookie Group's logistics technology division, introduced that Rookie's WMS software incorporates over a decade of warehousing, operation, and practical experience from Rookie, combined with modular, low-code, and algorithm-based advanced technological capabilities, creating an intelligent, standardized, and digitalized warehouse management system. Once the WMS system is operational, it will provide Spotter's overseas warehouses with a standardized, efficient warehousing management system, ensuring the accuracy and real-time nature of system information, standardizing business processes, improving operational efficiency, enhancing inventory accuracy, reducing the rate of goods damage, and achieving full chain traceability.

As the world's largest cross-border e-commerce logistics company, Rookie's global smart logistics network covers over 200 countries and regions. Its leading technological capabilities have been key not only to optimizing its own operational efficiency but also in providing a one-stop logistics technology solution for numerous enterprises both in China and abroad. The relevant responsible person from Rookie Group's logistics technology business stated that, in addition to delivering the Spotter WMS project, Rookie will continue to provide capabilities like digital supply chain, pushing self-developed WMS software and other products to more enterprises, aiding the digital construction of more industries.
