On February 27th, reports from the media suggest that Apple will be unveiling a new iPad Air by the end of March.
It's reported that the new iPad Air will come in two sizes: 10.9 inches and a whopping 12.9 inches, making it the largest Air tablet ever released by Apple.
The larger the size, the higher the price inevitably goes. Reports suggest that the new iPad Air 10.9-inch version will maintain the same price as the previous generation, starting at $599 (approximately ¥4300 RMB).
The 12.9-inch version of the iPad Air will be $200 more expensive, starting at $799 (about ¥5750 RMB), making it the highest-priced iPad Air in Apple's history.
Both sizes will feature traditional LCD screens, not mini-LED, and will be powered by Apple's in-house M2 chip, supporting Touch ID.
In terms of design, the new iPad Air seems to draw inspiration from the iPhone X with its camera design, featuring a protruding camera module with a flash beneath it.
Additionally, the new iPad Air will support Apple's Magic Keyboard. However, Apple will not design a dedicated keyboard for the new iPad Air; instead, it will be compatible with the existing Magic Keyboard, with a new design specifically tailored for the iPad Pro series.
