On February 27th, Intel launched its latest GPU driver version 31.0.101.5333, a formal release that has passed Microsoft's WHQL certification. This update is compatible with Arc Alchemist discrete GPUs and Iris Xe integrated graphics, with a file size of 681.2 MB.
The update highlights include optimized support for "Last Epoch" and "Sea of Thieves", with a special focus on enhancing DX11 game performance, achieving a staggering increase of up to 155%.
Compared to the previous version 5330, performance improvements on Intel Core Ultra processors with Iris Xe graphics include:
- "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" saw a 65% increase
- "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" improved by 17%
- "Divinity: Original Sin 2" increased by 25%
- "Far Cry 5" saw an 8% improvement
- "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" improved by 19%
- "It Takes Two" saw a 24% increase
- "Just Cause 3" improved by 18%
- "Just Cause 4" skyrocketed by 155%
- "Paladins" saw a 14% increase
- "Rise of the Tomb Raider" improved by 9%
- "Rust" saw a 9% increase
- "SCUM" improved by 6%
- "Civilization VI" saw a 27% increase
- "SnowRunner" improved by 49%
- "Warframe" saw a 7% increase
- "XCOM 2" improved by 8%
