On February 26th, during the Tank 700 Hi4-T launch event, the power details were officially disclosed.
The Tank 700 Hi4-T, as the flagship hardcore off-road vehicle under the Tank brand, is equipped with a groundbreaking hybrid system consisting of a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine and a P2 electric motor.
It's reported that the integrated power of the propulsion system can reach 385 kW, with a comprehensive torque of 800 N·m. The acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour can be achieved in around 5 seconds, while the comprehensive fuel consumption under WLTC is 2.97 liters per 100 kilometers, and the electric fuel consumption is 10.9 liters per 100 kilometers.
Great Wall Motors stated: "This system is unique in China and scarce globally."
The Tank 700 Hi4-T is equipped with the domestically developed 9HAT transmission system, the only one of its kind in China apart from the engine. Paired with the formidable Tank-exclusive platform, it delivers exceptional off-road performance.
In addition, the vehicle is equipped with mechanical four-wheel drive, air suspension with CDC electromagnetic damping, three differential locks, and a detachable stabilizer bar.
The detachable stabilizer bar is controlled through a hydraulic system to enable disconnection/connection, providing an additional 60mm of suspension rebound travel during extreme off-roading or recovery scenarios, thereby indirectly enhancing safety performance.
With such robust power, the Tank 700 Hi4-T boasts a Multi-Mode All-Terrain System, offering selectable modes including Standard, Economy, Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand, Rock, Water Fording, 4H, 4L, Automatic, and Expert Mode.
