February 26th update: The all-new Redmi G Pro 2024 is set to be officially unveiled on March 4th, marking Xiaomi's debut of a new product through Douyin (TikTok) livestream.
According to reports, the Redmi G Pro 2024 is positioned as an esports flagship. Lu Weibing stated, "We have assembled a formidable R&D team, invested the most group resources and technical capabilities, and spent over a year crafting it, aiming to set a new benchmark for gaming laptops within the 10,000 RMB price range."
Lu Weibing mentioned that they are introducing the "Fury Engine" technology from Redmi phones to the PC domain for the first time, officially initiating an era of comprehensive performance tuning for PCs.
With the support of the "Raging Engine PC Edition," the Redmi G Pro 2024 unleashes its full system performance, reaching up to 210W, aiming to challenge the performance ceiling of gaming laptops priced around 10,000 CNY.
According to official teasers, the Redmi G Pro 2024 is set to feature a powerhouse combination of the i9-14900HX processor and the RTX 4060 GPU.
In terms of cooling, the Redmi G Pro 2024 will come equipped with both "liquid metal" and VC cooling. The former boasts a thermal conductivity efficiency 2.5 times that of traditional phase change materials. "Our liquid metal enjoys the same 2-year warranty as the entire machine, so everyone can use it with peace of mind," said Lu Weibing.
On the ecosystem front, leveraging the foundational capabilities of Xiaomi's Surge OS, the Redmi G Pro 2024 promises an enhanced cross-platform experience and seamless integration within the Windows/Android ecosystem. It's a flagship laptop tailored to meet the demands of gaming and creative tasks.
