Cooler Master has unveiled the MK770 triple-mode gaming mechanical keyboard on February 26th, available in two color options: Macaron and Deep Space Grey.
In terms of design, the Cooler Master MK770 features a robust outline and a CNC metal body, boasting a compact 96-key layout while retaining the numeric keypad section.
The keyboard features Kailh Box V2 mechanical switches, offering a choice between red, brown, and white switches, with support for hot-swapping. It comes with RGB lighting effects, incorporates sound-absorbing design, and includes ample foam padding and damping pads inside. The keycaps are made of PBT material, containing over 85% PBT content.
Additionally, the keyboard is equipped with a programmable shortcut metal scroll wheel, which can be used for quickly adjusting settings such as volume. Customization can be done through the MasterCTRL software.
In terms of connectivity, the MK770 offers three modes: 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.1, and wired. Cooler Master provides a 1.8-meter USB Type-C to USB 2.0 Type-A cable for connection (keyboard end to computer end). It supports Windows 8+, Mac OS X 10.10+, iOS, and Android operating systems, with quick switching available at the rear of the keyboard.
Moreover, the keyboard boasts a response time of just 1ms, with a polling rate of 1000Hz in wired and 2.4GHz modes, and 125Hz in Bluetooth mode. It also features a built-in 4000mAh battery, offering a maximum battery life of 7 days.
