On February 26th, JiYue initiated an OTA update for its intelligent driving software, introducing the cutting-edge Occupancy Network (OCC), marking its entry into the realm of advanced occupancy networks.

According to official statements, this product upgrade equips JiYue's 01 model with a comprehensive "BEV+Transformer+OCC" pure visual solution along with "Baidu Maps Lane-Level Navigation," solidifying its position at the forefront of China's intelligent driving industry and gearing up for nationwide accessibility.

On one hand, with the formal integration of OCC into its system, JiYue's "BEV+Transformer+OCC" pure visual solution achieves further enhancements in perception and recognition capabilities.

Wang Liang, Chief R&D Architect of Baidu Intelligent Driving Group (IDG), stated that OCC enables intelligent vehicles to identify the physical world with greater accuracy, with an obstacle recognition rate reaching up to 99%.

On the other hand, with the upgraded Baidu Maps Lane-Level Navigation, JiYue's intelligent driving system gains double assurance for swiftly navigating through the intricate roadways across the nation.

Leveraging the industry-first map generation mega-model, as of February 2024, Baidu Maps has completed the production of LD lane-level map data covering a staggering 3.6 million kilometers of roads nationwide, supporting JiYue's urban PPA to achieve the level of traditional high-precision maps.

LD lane-level navigation will gradually roll out in 360 cities across various Baidu Maps platforms, concurrently supporting JiYue's nationwide PPA, realizing the vision of "where there's a mapped road, there's PPA."

"I can reveal that JiYue's intelligent driving will soon be accessible nationwide. Simply open the Baidu Maps app, and wherever Baidu Maps navigation is available, it will be fully drivable," stated JiYue CEO Xia Yiping.

"Seeing in real-time" is ultimately not as secure as "knowing in advance." With mapped intelligent driving, safety is paramount. Compared to other automotive companies' claims of "map-less" solutions, Baidu Maps' LD lane-level navigation offers richer, fresher, and more accurate elements, ensuring a safer and smoother intelligent driving experience for users within manageable costs. s_1ebe67593d0746dba30e9528a606640f.jpg
