Earlier, in the article "PICO Vice President Ren Lifeng Resigns to Start a Business, Ventures into Cross-Border E-Commerce, Project Valued at Over $50 Million," Tech Planet revealed that Ren Lifeng, Vice President of PICO, is still recruiting talents for his entrepreneurial project. The initial team includes many members from Douyin, including some veteran figures. Among them is Li Tian.
Reportedly, Shumei Wanshuo focuses on cross-border e-commerce and AI manufacturing. The founding team members come from companies like ByteDance and Alibaba. The entire platform is still in the process of recruiting personnel. Caption: Introduction to Shumei Wanneng Corporation
Tiantian Li was a member of the initial "Seven-member Group" at Douyin and served as the Operations Manager. In May 2021, she joined the e-commerce department of ByteDance, where she was involved in Douyin e-commerce operations, including live-streaming sales and influencer management. At that time, Tiantian Li reported to Kang Zeyu, the President of Douyin e-commerce, along with Mu Qingping, the overall head of Douyin e-commerce operations.
In June 2022, Tiantian Li, the head of e-commerce author product operations at Douyin, resigned. Internal sources suggested that her departure might have been due to a series of organizational changes within Douyin's e-commerce division at that time.
According to insiders, Tiantian Li joined Ren Lifeng's entrepreneurial team because both were early members of Douyin's incubated "Seven-member Group" during the early days of Douyin's startup. They shared a close and collaborative work experience. Li and Ren Lifeng together completed initial market expansion efforts. Insiders revealed, "Juanjuan (Ren Lifeng's nickname within Douyin) took Tiantian to negotiate market by market, influencer by influencer."
The aforementioned sources believe that the re-collaboration between Tiantian Li and Ren Lifeng, combined with the trends in cross-border e-commerce and AI, may bring greater commercial potential to this startup platform, Shumei Wanneng Corporation.
