Zhou Hongyi: Companies Should "All in AI" to Establish AI Belief

On February 25, according to media reports, Zhou Hongyi, the founder of 360 Company, said in an interview that companies looking to enter the AI field should first establish a belief in AI and aim to go "All in AI."

Zhou Hongyi stated that currently, there is a general longing for AI among companies, yet they are uncertain about how to get involved, especially for non-AI companies that are still quite distant from AI. In response, companies should first establish a belief in AI and aim to go "All in AI."

To this end, Zhou Hongyi offered three suggestions: First, companies should become familiar with AI without rushing to integrate it with their own business, allowing all employees to become more acquainted with AI technology and accustomed to applying AI.

Secondly, before customizing AI, companies should upgrade their big data platforms to knowledge platforms for the company.

This is because training AI first requires the relevant knowledge, but much of it consists of "tacit knowledge" not found on the external internet, which may be scattered across different employees' computers, emails, and chat records. All this "tacit knowledge" needs to be collected together.

Finally, companies need to utilize vertically trained smaller models for empowerment. Creating enterprise-level models does not require much computational power since models with billions of parameters have a small demand for computational power. Ultimately, it's about assessing the knowledge of the scenario and its integration with the business operations. s_7873b2f356fe4f209d0a755a323b7cc7.jpg
