On February 25th, BYD officially announced that it successfully delivered the first batch of BYD ATTO 3 (equivalent to Yuan PLUS domestically) to Hungarian owners on February 23rd.

BYD Group's Chairman and President, Wang Chuanfu, and Hungarian Foreign Minister, Szijjártó Péter, attended the event, marking a significant milestone for BYD in "successfully opening a new chapter in the Central and Eastern European market." s_6af57d18bf8b47debe9278eeb21ac7e7.png Following this, Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán praised BYD, the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturer, announcing the establishment of their first European car factory (passenger vehicles) in Hungary.

It's reported that in December last year, BYD announced plans to construct a new energy vehicle production base in Székesfehérvár, Hungary, marking BYD's first passenger car assembly plant in Europe.

Construction of the factory has already begun, with completion and commencement of operations expected by 2025. The facility will produce both batteries and complete vehicles, creating thousands of job opportunities for the local community.

Currently, three models, ATTO 3, Dolphin, and Seal, made their debut in Hungary in October last year, marking Hungary as BYD's first entry into the Central and Eastern European market. s_b39999f710b4448084269cfd8c3d33a5.png
