On February 25th, it was reported that the BMW i3, an all-electric model within the BMW 3 Series lineup, is currently available in three configurations with prices ranging from 353,900 to 413,900 RMB.

However, unlike the gasoline-powered 3 Series, the BMW electric 3 Series has not been as popular among consumers. Its sales have been lukewarm, and its prices have continuously dropped, with discounts exceeding 100,000 RMB at dealerships.

According to revelations from a blogger, sales representatives at BMW 4S dealerships have indicated that the BMW i3, with a suggested retail price of over 350,000 RMB, can now be purchased for as low as 230,000 RMB at dealerships, with discounts exceeding 100,000 RMB, marking the lowest price ever.

The dimensions of the BMW i3 are as follows: 4872mm in length, 1846mm in width, and 1481mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2966mm. The 35kWh version features a motor with a maximum power output of 210kW, accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.2 seconds, equipped with a 70kWh battery providing a CLTC pure electric range of 526 kilometers.

The 40kWh version boasts a motor with a maximum power output of 250kW, accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.6 seconds, with a CLTC pure electric range of 592 kilometers.

In terms of configuration, the entry-level BMW i3 eDrive 35kWh offers additional features compared to the BMW 320i M Sport package, including lane departure warning, active braking, forward collision warning, low-speed driving warning, and adjustable suspension stiffness/height.

It also includes features such as air suspension, a panoramic sunroof, multi-color ambient lighting, and heat pump air conditioning, providing richer safety and comfort configurations.

Undoubtedly, compared to the gasoline-powered 3 Series from BMW, the electric BMW i3 offers more prominent advantages in terms of configuration and value for money. If you were given the choice, would you opt for the electric BMW i3 or the gasoline-powered 3 Series? s_ff5a1a49c4014c89bf1847dd6620fece.png
