On February 24th, it was announced that the Huawei Pocket 2, a compact foldable phone, will officially go on sale on March 1st (Friday) with a starting price of 7,499 RMB.
The device is powered by the Kirin 9000S chip, making it Huawei's first Kirin 5G foldable phone and currently the most powerful Kirin foldable screen device available.
The new Huawei Pocket 2 continues the "Pearl Double Loop" design of its predecessor. Both the lens group and the external screen are larger and arranged symmetrically, offering four color options: Tahiti Gray, Coco White, Purple (Plain Skin), and Black (Plain Skin), making it visually appealing.
The Huawei Pocket 2 adopts a brand-new Xuanwu waterdrop hinge, claiming to improve flatness by 62% and achieve "ultimate flatness." Thanks to the improved hinge structure, the Pocket 2 maintains a super-flat and reliable screen even with prolonged use.
It is worth noting that the Huawei Pocket 2 supports multi-angle hovering when folded. Through free hovering, users can use the rear camera for selfies.
In terms of the screen, the Huawei Pocket 2 features a 6.94-inch large internal screen with a resolution of 2690*1136 and supports adaptive refresh rate adjustment from 1Hz to 120Hz.
