On February 24th, according to the digital blogger Digital Chat Station, OPPO Find X7 Ultra's satellite communication edition is set to be released in March, featuring a new variant with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Currently, the standard version of OPPO Find X7 Ultra with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at 6999 CNY. With the addition of the 16GB+1TB variant in the satellite communication edition, the price is expected to surpass 7000 CNY.
According to previous official announcements, the OPPO Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Edition supports both earpiece and hands-free dual-mode satellite calling, bidding farewell to the walkie-talkie mode of satellite communication.
OPPO employs satellite antenna directional diagram control technology, allowing users to answer satellite calls stably by simply bringing the phone close to their ear, without requiring any specific angle or posture, just like answering a regular phone call. This aligns better with user habits.
In extreme noisy environments such as heavy winds and waves, the walkie-talkie-style hands-free calling might result in unclear audio. In such cases, satellite phone mode provides clearer communication and can be more effective in emergencies.
It's worth noting that during the March launch event, OPPO will also introduce the OPPO Watch X smartwatch.
