According to multiple users in the Apple smartphone community, iPhone 15 series devices have been experiencing frequent Bluetooth disconnection issues.
Some users have reported on the Apple community forum that ever since upgrading their iPhone 15 Pro to iOS 17.3.1, they have encountered Bluetooth connectivity problems. They are unable to connect to car systems, resulting in the inability to use hands-free calling while driving.
Even when Bluetooth connections are established successfully, they remain unstable and frequently disconnect.
This information has sparked discussions among netizens, with some users responding to their own situations: "It's not entirely the case for me. After updating to the new system, I can connect to the car system and make phone calls, but I can't play music in the car. Even re-pairing Bluetooth and restarting the phone doesn't help."
Furthermore, many Apple users have also reported experiencing Bluetooth connectivity issues while using AirPods.
In fact, iPhone Bluetooth issues first surfaced back in October last year, with a large number of Apple users discussing how to fix Bluetooth pairing problems.
Apple seems to have not completely resolved this. However, for the issue of iPhone Bluetooth failing to pair or connect to iOS or iPadOS devices, Apple has provided some solutions.
- Ensure that your Bluetooth accessories and iOS or iPadOS device are close to each other.
- Turn off Bluetooth and then turn it back on.
- Ensure that the Bluetooth accessory is turned on, fully charged, or connected to power.
- If there is an app associated with the Bluetooth accessory, go to "Settings" > "Privacy & Security" > Bluetooth on your iOS or iPadOS device and make sure that Bluetooth is enabled for that app.
If your phone encounters this issue, you can try the above methods.
