According to a report by Fast Technology on February 22nd, when it comes to chip manufacturing, people might immediately think of TSMC, as many chips are produced by them. However, in addition to TSMC's advanced process technology, Intel also possesses similar capabilities and is not lagging behind TSMC.
During today's IFS Direct Connect event, Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger reiterated in an interview that Intel is willing to manufacture chips for any company, including long-term competitor AMD.
Furthermore, Intel will not only utilize its most advanced process nodes to manufacture chips for external customers but also provide all of its intellectual property, including leading packaging technology.
Kissinger expressed hope that Intel's semiconductor foundry business could serve all customers, including NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Google, Microsoft, and AMD.
"Intel's goal is to become a global leader in foundry services and will not show any bias toward foundry companies."
At the same time, Intel will also utilize products developed by the Xeon team, such as the hybrid bonding technology "Clearwater Forest," for its foundry business to help customers build more powerful AI chips.
