Freezing Rain Causes Cars to Be Encased in Ice: Traffic Police Teach You a One-Minute Method to Clea

According to reports from February 21st by TechNews, recently, the central region of China has once again encountered extreme and harsh weather conditions such as heavy snow, cold waves, and freezing rain. Many vehicles have been covered with a layer of "ice armor," which is very troublesome to remove and affects driving.

Some drivers have tried methods like scraping with cardboard or chiseling with iron rods, but the effects are not significant. Improper operation may even damage the windshield, causing more harm than good.

Recently, traffic police in Zhengzhou introduced a new method of "deicing car windows" to netizens, which is highly effective and only takes 1 minute to complete.

In the video, a traffic police officer holds a bag of lukewarm water (avoid using boiling water as it may damage the car windows). After scraping off the loose snow on the windows, the warm water bag is placed on the glass. In just a few seconds, the ice layer on the glass melts and peels off. In just 1 minute, the entire window is cleared of ice.

If using the car's internal hot air to melt the ice layer on the glass, it would take at least ten minutes, whereas using a warm water bag is more efficient.

In addition, some netizens have shared other methods for "deicing and anti-icing windshields."

For example, you can pre-attach a piece of leather-backed burlap or a car towel on the windshield. This way, when driving, you only need to remove the towel to ensure that the glass is not affected by ice layers.

So, do you have any good methods for deicing car windows? Feel free to share in the comments section. s_dbbc1b01163246b291c0423d73de1149.png
