Huawei Acquires Land in Songshan Lake, Dongguan for 4.63 Million Yuan, with an Area Exceeding 6,300

Tech News Flash, February 21st - Huawei has spent 4.63 million CNY to acquire a piece of land in Songshan Lake, Dongguan, with an area exceeding 6,300 square meters, bringing the total investment to over 500 million CNY.

According to the Dongguan Public Resource Trading Center website, on February 19th, the plot numbered 2024WT016, located at the southwest intersection of Alishan Road and its branch road in Songshan Lake, was listed for auction. Eventually, it was won by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. with a total bid of 4.63 million CNY.

The listing document indicates that the land belongs to category M1 industrial use, with a land area of 6,349.11 square meters and a concession period of 50 years. The plot's plot ratio must not be lower than 2.0 nor higher than 3.0, with a maximum building height of 60 meters. The permitted industry is communication terminal equipment manufacturing.

Requirements for the plot include a total investment of no less than 500 million CNY, with a minimum investment intensity of 78,780 CNY per square meter.
