Tech News on February 21st, Digital Chat Station, a well-known blogger, revealed that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 (codenamed SM7675) is about to debut, with the OnePlus Ace 3V being the first to be equipped with it.
It is reported that the Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 adopts the same architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen3, continuing the traditional advantage of low power consumption in the Snapdragon 7 series, with a significant improvement in performance compared to the Snapdragon 7+ Gen2.
Specifically, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 features the same Cortex-X4 super-core as the Snapdragon 8 Gen3, with a CPU clock speed of 2.8GHz (compared to 3.3GHz for the Snapdragon 8 Gen3). The big core is Cortex-A720, the small core is Cortex-A520, and the GPU is Adreno 732, operating at a frequency of over 800MHz.
In terms of performance, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 can achieve a maximum Antutu benchmark score of 1.7 million points, which is comparable to its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen2. For comparison, the previous generation Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 scored lower than the Snapdragon 8+.
Undoubtedly, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 is the most powerful Snapdragon 7 series platform in Qualcomm's history. Apart from OnePlus, Redmi Note 13 Turbo will also be equipped with this chip.
