On May 10th, at the "BYD e Platform 3.0 Evo and Sea Lion 07EV Global Launch Event," BYD unveiled the e Platform 3.0 EVO, a new platform integrating BYD's core electric technology.
During the event, Liang Yubo introduced the BYD e Platform 3.0 EVO, which features the world's highest production speed motor with a maximum speed of 23,000 RPM. With the support of the ultra-high-speed drive motor, the Sea Lion 07 EV achieves a top speed of 225 km/h.
The motor's speed exceeds that of Xiaomi's SU7 V6S super motor, which has a speed of 21,000 rpm, making it the fastest among current globally produced cars.
Additionally, the e-platform 3.0 EVO provides a comprehensive intelligent fast charging solution, featuring intelligent boost and intelligent dual-gun fast charging technologies already installed in vehicles, enabling 100% compatibility with public DC charging stations and boosting the maximum charging power to 500 kW.
Moreover, the intelligent boost fast charging technology allows high-power charging on any voltage platform, with a maximum charging current of 400A and a charging time of less than 25 minutes for 10-80% SOC, increasing public charging station utilization by 30%.
The intelligent terminal fast charging technology enables intelligent control of pulse charging current, applying negative pulse discharge during high-current charging.
To reduce concentration polarization, the terminal employs self-heating intelligent warming technology to moderately increase battery temperature, achieving lossless fast charging at the terminal and reducing terminal charging time from 30 minutes to 18 minutes.
