According to the latest information on the group's official website, Kang Hong has officially taken up the positions of Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Gree Group.
Public records indicate that Kang Hong, male, born in 1976, is from Sichuan Province and previously served as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Zhuhai Municipal People's Government.
Reportedly, just before the Spring Festival, Kang Hong had already plunged into work, leading a team to conduct research on projects under construction such as the 12-inch TSV 3D integrated production base in Zhuhai and Gree's No. 1 project. He supervised on-site safety production work and sent warm regards to frontline construction personnel before the holiday.
It is understood that the former chairman of Gree Group was Zhou Lewei, who took over the position from Dong Mingzhu in 2016.
Subsequently, Dong Mingzhu only served as the chairman, president, and legal representative of Gree Electric Appliances.
