Tech2 reported on February 19th that the recent release of Sora text-generated videos by OpenAI has sparked widespread social attention.
This type of video generation model is lifelike and realistic, garnering significant praise from Elon Musk for Tesla's video production capabilities.
Recently, he showcased not only Tesla's previously released generated videos to the public but also posted some related posts and replies on social media.
Among them, he posted a message stating that Tesla's real-world simulation and video generation are the best in the world.
In fact, a few days ago, Musk hinted in a post that Tesla was able to generate real-world videos with precise physical techniques as early as a year ago. However, these training data came from cars, so the generated videos were not very interesting.
He mentioned that these videos look just like regular Tesla videos, even though they're created through "dynamic world generation" (non-memory).
During that time, he also shared several simulated real-world scenarios of autopilot videos made by Tesla a year ago, and replied to a user's comment: "Tesla's video generation capabilities surpass those of OpenAI; it can predict extremely accurate physical properties, which is crucial for autopilot."
Additionally, there was a user who posted suggesting that Tesla should make a video game, so that people could earn points for solving engineering problems and earn badges.
Musk responded to this by saying, "I've wanted to do this for a long time, but making a game would require Tesla to launch fully autonomous driving (FSD) first." This implies that Tesla might actually launch an electronic game in the future.
