Tech Fast News, February 19 - Today, Realme's Vice President, Xu Qi, made two consecutive posts on Weibo discussing the Realme 12 Pro series of smartphones.
He announced that the Realme 12 Pro series will be launched on February 27. Following this, he posted on Weibo stating that cost performance has gradually become a thing of the past, and the quality-price ratio is the future mainstream. Due to budget constraints, mid-range smartphone users often have to compromise when purchasing a device, which means they can't enjoy better features and configurations.
Addressing this concern, Xu Qi stated that realme wants to change this situation, making it possible for everyone who loves life to have access to smartphones with outstanding quality and impressive configurations. realme aims to offer more surprises and elevate the user experience for everyone at the same price point. Some bloggers have claimed that in recent years, "cost-effectiveness" is gradually being replaced by "quality and price ratio" because when products are priced similarly, there's not much price difference to distinguish them, and solely relying on price to determine cost-effectiveness becomes less convincing.
This time, the flagship Realme 12 Pro series has pushed the limits with its periscope telephoto lens, which has always been lacking in good photography, to the 2K price range. It outshines competitors in the same category, maximizing the quality and price ratio.
Xu Qi agrees with the blogger's opinion, stating in the comments section: "Cost-effectiveness defines products that are slightly better in the same category, while quality and price ratio products surpass the same category, providing an unprecedented flagship experience!" According to previous reports, the realme 12 Pro series includes two models: the realme 12 Pro and the realme 12 Pro+. The realme 12 Pro+ is equipped with a 64-megapixel SuperZoom periscope telephoto lens.
Compared to traditional telephoto lenses in the same category, the realme 12 Pro series' SuperZoom periscope telephoto lens has the advantage of achieving long-distance shooting through optical zoom without sacrificing image quality even at high zoom levels, offering better resolution and higher costs.
Additionally, it features the OV64B periscope telephoto model with a 1/2-inch sensor and individual pixel size of 0.7μm. It supports 3x optical zoom, 120x digital zoom, and OIS optical stabilization.
