Tech Express, February 14 - Recently, a blogger discovered that during the Spring Festival, the Ideal Supercharging Stations saw many NIO vehicles coming in for charging. Li Xiang, Chairman and CEO of Ideal Motors, responded to this by saying, "When the doors are open for business, everyone who comes is a customer."

During the Spring Festival, some netizens encountered multiple cars queuing up for charging at the battery swapping stations in highway service areas. Among them, besides Ideal Motors vehicles, most of the vehicles charging at the Ideal Supercharging Stations were NIO vehicles.

The blogger commented, "In the future, let's not argue over who is better, let's all join hands and promote the construction of energy infrastructure together."

Li Xiang directly reposted this Weibo post and candidly admitted that the charging station is a business, not charity. When the doors are open for business, everyone who comes is a customer. It has to be said that Li Xiang's vision is indeed broad. It's worth noting that "free" here refers to both service fees and electricity charges being fully waived, meaning Ideal Motors' owners won't have to spend a penny.

Li Xiang mentioned that this move helps users travel with peace of mind and without worries, enjoying the happy moments of reunion with their families.

Additionally, during the Spring Festival holiday, owners of other brands' vehicles can also charge at Ideal Motors' charging stations but will be charged the standard fee. The base electricity fee is collected by local power companies, with NIO acting solely as the collecting agent. The service fee, on the other hand, is allocated for the operation and maintenance of the swap stations, ensuring that vehicle owners can enjoy convenient and efficient battery swap services.
